Say Goodbye to Beer (For Now) at One of Disney’s Most Popular Parks
If you’re a fan of sipping on a fresh pint of beer while strolling through EPCOT’s World Showcase, you might want to adjust your plans. A major change has temporarily impacted the Rose & Crown Pub in the United Kingdom Pavilion—draft beer and cider are currently unavailable!
This classic British pub is a go-to spot for guests looking to enjoy a properly poured Guinness or a crisp Strongbow cider, but for now, all draft selections are off the menu. So, what’s going on? How long will this last? And where else can you find draft beer in EPCOT? Let’s dive into all the details!
Why Is There No Draft Beer at Rose & Crown?
According to Cast Members, Rose & Crown is undergoing a major update to its keg system, which means draft beer and cider won’t be available for the next several weeks. The project is expected to take about 10 weeks, meaning guests will need to wait until early summer before they can enjoy a fresh draft pour at the pub again.
Disney considered closing the pub during the upgrade, but instead, they’ve opted to keep the location open while serving alternative drink options.
What Drinks Are Still Available?
Just because draft beer is off the menu doesn’t mean you’ll have to skip your drink break entirely! Rose & Crown still offers:
-
Canned and bottled versions of popular British beers and ciders
-
A full selection of whiskey, wine, and cocktails
-
Traditional British mixed drinks, like the Pimm’s Cup
While it’s not quite the same as a fresh draft pour, you’ll still be able to get a taste of the UK while visiting the pavilion!
Where Else Can You Get Draft Beer in EPCOT?
If you’re craving draft beer specifically, there are plenty of other spots in EPCOT to check out. Here are some of the best places to grab a cold, freshly poured beer while you wait for Rose & Crown’s upgrades to be completed:

When Will Draft Beer Be Back at Rose & Crown?
Disney has not given an official reopening date for the draft system at Rose & Crown, but Cast Members estimate the upgrade process will take about 10 weeks. That means we could see draft beer and cider return sometime in early summer.
In the meantime, guests can enjoy alternative beverages inside the pub or head to other locations around EPCOT to get their draft beer fix!
Final Thoughts
While it’s disappointing that Rose & Crown’s famous draft beers are off the menu for now, the good news is that the pub remains open and still offers a great selection of drinks. If you’re looking for a fresh draft beer, you’ll have to explore some of EPCOT’s other fantastic options for the next couple of months.
We’ll keep an eye out for any updates on when the new keg system is ready, so stay tuned! In the meantime, will this change impact your EPCOT drinking plans? Let us know in the comments!
