Pro Bowlers to Compete in Skills Challenge at Walt Disney World

ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World will host the football Pro Bowl Skills Showdown.  This showdown pits AFC and NFC football All-Stars against each other in order to compete in various skills competitions.  The skills competitions will include a variety of different players including linemen, linebackers, defensive backs, quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers from each of the pro bowl teams from the divisions.

The competitions are:

• Best Hands: Quartersbacks and wide receivers will complete as many successful pass attempts as possible before time runs out
• Epic Pro Bowl Dodgeball: Exciting games of good old school dodgeball
• Power Relay Challenge: Timed relay race with 4 players on each team
• Precision Passing: Players battling against each other to hit moving targets.

The Pro Bowl players will be determined by voting.  The voting of fans, players and coaches each count as 1/3rd of the total weight to determine which players will represent each of the teams.  The final decision for the players will be announced on December 20th.  The entire event will air during Pro Bowl week on Thursday, January 26 and 7PM ET on ESPN.  This should be an exciting and fun event to watch!
