Bodycam footage recently emerged showing police officers tackling a woman at Universal Orlando Resort. The guest was reportedly arrested after trying to sneak into Universal Studios Florida without a valid theme park ticket.
Our friends at Inside the Magic covered this incident when it occurred in March 2024, but little was known about the circumstances at the time. At that point, the only available public information came from photos shared by other Universal Orlando Resort guests on social media.
On August 3, 2025, the YouTube channel Cop Action On Cam published bodycam footage of the arrest, shedding more light on the incident. According to their report, Universal Orlando Resort security noticed the woman walk through the Universal Studios Florida entrance without scanning a ticket. Team members called the police and followed the woman to the Port of Entry area until law enforcement arrived and apprehended her.
When the police officer approaches the woman, he asks where her theme park ticket is. “My mother-in-law has it,” she replies. “…I’m trying to figure out why [security] is stopping me.”
“You don’t have a ticket right now,” the police officer replies. “You’re in the park. Right now, it’s a theft of service. So let’s go.”
The woman refuses to walk with the police officer to Universal Orlando Resort’s security office, insisting that she can choose to leave the park if she wants to. She calls someone on her cellphone and begins to walk away, repeatedly ignoring the officer’s commands.
When the officer catches up to the woman, he informs her she has one more chance to walk to Universal Orlando Resort’s security office before being taken to jail.
She refuses once again, saying, “Just take me to jail, baby.” The officer immediately tackles and handcuffs her.
“My mother-in-law has my ticket!” the woman repeats while lying on the ground. “…Somebody record! I have a ticket!”
At some point, the woman’s husband arrives with their children and yells at the police, claiming she has a ticket. However, the woman never produced a valid Universal Studios Florida ticket.
“You didn’t give me a chance,” she says. “…I should’ve run from your b****h a**.”
“I gave you plenty of chances,” the officer replies. “…That’s resisting.”
As the police officer walks the woman to Universal Orlando Resort’s security office, she calls him “racist” and yells at other guests to record the arrest. “This f***er slammed me down. You’d better be glad you’re a police officer.”
“If you’d have acted like a normal human being, you wouldn’t be here,” he replies. “…What don’t you understand? I am a police officer.”
The woman repeatedly refuses to sit down in the security office, and the police officer ultimately forces her to sit in the back of his car. She resists until she is threatened with pepper spray.
Law enforcement officers eventually return to the woman’s husband and request her identification. He initially refuses, but complies after an officer warns him that if they ask his wife and she refuses to identify herself, she could “catch another charge.”
The video ends with the suspect speaking with a police sergeant, at her request. She confirms that she is under the influence of alcohol, and again insists that she was wrongfully “slammed to the ground” because she had Universal Orlando Resort tickets.
“We have yet to see these tickets,” the sergeant replies. “How are you going to produce these tickets? Your husband left.”
Before being transported to the local jail, the suspect claimed that she would’ve shown the initial arresting officer her ticket if he hadn’t spoken to her “rudely.”
According to the video, the woman’s husband posted her $1,000 bail. She failed to appear at her scheduled court dates and currently has an active arrest warrant.
Universal Orlando Resort has not made any public statements about this incident.
