Fireworks and projections on Cinderella castle during Happily Ever After show

The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor is a popular spot, so be prepared for a short wait during peak hours. However, the delicious and decadent treats are well worth the wait. Located on Main Street, U.S.A., it’s a convenient option for a midday snack if you leave the Park before returning for the fireworks. However, the best times to snag a cold treat without the wait are right when the parlor opens at 11:00 a.m. or immediately following the Magic Kingdom fireworks show if you can beat the crowd.

About Megan Losey

As a Disney foodie, I love writing about Disney food and snacks. Some of my favorites are the Carrot Cake Cookie from Trolley Car Cafe, the Mickey Beignets from Port Orleans French Quarter, and the Apple Blossom from Port Orleans Riverside. When I'm visiting the parks, you can find me on Main Street taking in the good vibe of Magic Kingdom or relaxing with a drink at the Polynesian watching the fireworks from the beach. As a previous Cast Member, I will always have a special place in my heart for the Magic Kingdom, especially Main Street U.S.A.
