Play Disney Parks App to Debut at Walt Disney World on June 30th

We are so excited to learn that the Play Disney Parks mobile app it set to officially debut to guests on June 30th, 2018.  The app is set to debut at Walt Disney World as well as at Disneyland Resort.  This app will be free to download from the mobile app stores and guests are already able to pre-order the app.  This mobile app will allow families to play fun games together and interact with certain attraction queues while they wait in line.  At Walt Disney World the interactive ride queue functionality for interactive experiences and activities is currently expected for Toy Story Mania!, Peter Pan’s Flight, Space Mountain and Slinky Dog Dash.

Once guests have downloaded the app, they will have to sign into their Disney account where they will be able to earn achievements from completing the various games and activities.  They can even play Disney trivia from the app, too.  Guests can even leverage Apple Music®* from within the app to access a curated audio experience featuring official playlists that are inspired by the lands, attractions, characters and more.
