Disney Dining Serving up the latest Disney Eats, Treats, News, and More!
The annual filming of the holiday specials that air on ABC will occur at Walt Disney World as usual for the 2018 holiday season. Currently we are hearing that the dates for Walt Disney World’s portion of the filming are set for November 7th through 11th, 2018. Of course these dates are subject to change as needed. We are also hearing that the format will be the same as what was aired last year, which means that there will be multiple holiday specials that will air throughout the holiday season.
There will not be a parade filming at Walt Disney World, but there will be a series of performances that are filmed at Cinderella Castle stage at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. The parade performance for the special will be filmed at Disneyland in California. Guests cannot purchase tickets to the filming, as they are given to Cast Members and their families. It is possible for guests to see some of the filming if visiting Magic Kingdom Park when it going on.
We don’t have the official air dates for the specials yet on ABC, but will update you as we hear more so that you can make sure you are tuned in for a dose of Disney!
