Performers Announced for Disney Christmas Event Special on ABC

ABC is all set to air special holiday special television events on Thursday, November 30th and Monday, December 25th.  These events include live performances from popular musical artists, performing many different Christmas songs.  Many of the performances are aired right from Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort in California.  The special will also include a look at the various Disney parks and attractions around the globe.  The taping for the shows is already in progress at Walt Disney World, resulting in operational impacts over the next few days around the 4 major theme parks.

The musical performances for the November 30th special are set to include:

  • Ciara:  Performing a Christmas medley
  • Darius Rucker: “Winter Wonderland”
  • Fifth Harmony: “Can You See” and “The Christmas Song”
  • Fitz and the Tantrums: “HandClap” and “Santa Stole My Lady.”
  • Hanson: “Finally It’s Christmas”
  • In Real Life: “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”
  • Jason Derulo:  “This Christmas”
  • Lea Michele: “Baby It’s Cold Outside”

The musical performances for the December 25th special are set to include:

  • Ciara: “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”
  • Darius Rucker: “Home for The Holidays”
  • Fifth Harmony:  “Sleigh Ride”
  • Fitz and the Tantrums: “Last Christmas”
  • Jason Derulo: “Silent Night”
  • Lea Michele:  “Let It Snow.”
  • 98°: “Season of Love”
  • Telly Leung and Arielle Jacobs: “A Whole New World”
