Order Walt Disney World Silhouette Portraits by Mail

The silhouette portraits are a popular souvenir from Walt Disney World, especially from the Magic Kingdom.  We are so excited to learn from a tweet from Disney Springs that Arribas Brothers would now be offering an option to mail order your Silhouette portraits from home.  This will save you the time of trying to do this within the parks or trying to get your kiddos to sit still for the process.  The prints can be ordered online and will be shipped to you at home, so you don’t even have to be at Walt Disney World to order!

Here is some of the info that was released in the tweet about the service:

“Authentic hand-cut 5″ x 7″ Silhouette portraits made to order of you, your children and even your pets!  A real Walt Disney World Silhouette Artist will freehand cut your portraits with just scissors!  You will always receive two copies of your 5″ x 7″  hand-cut Silhouettes, perfect for gift-giving.  The Silhouettes come mounted on white 5″ x 7″ mounting cards, ready to frame.  Black oval frames are also available for $10 each.”

Directions for how to take the photo(s) and submit them were also included:

“Directions on how to take the best photo:

1. Take a clear, right profile photo of each subject you wish to have done.  Stand approximately 4 feet from your subject, and have the subject stand in front of a plain background, like a white wall.  Get at eye level with the subject.  Have the subject stay still, with no smiles.  Be sure to get the subject’s entire head and all of the hair in the photo. If you are unsure of the photo, please do send a few and we will work from the best one. 
2. Please send the photo(s) attached in an email message to:  silhouettes@arribas.com.
3. We will let you know when we receive your photos, and will let you know if we can work from them.
4. Once you receive your confirmation, you may place your order online.
5. Since each silhouette is hand made to order, please allow 2-3 weeks for your order to be filled and shipped to you.”
