Opening Date of September 29th Announced for Disney Skyliner at Walt Disney World

We are so excited to officially learn from Disney Parks Blog that Disney Skyliner has an official opening date.  The date has been announced as September 29th, 2019 for the debut to guests at Walt Disney World Resort. Check out the video below:

This new gondola transportation system will give guests another way to get to different locations while at Disney World with amazing views.  Disney Skyliner will connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Riviera Resort (currently scheduled to open in December 2019).

Some Disney Skyliner cabins feature characters and images from some of the Disney films, attractions, characters and more. graphics based on Disney films, attractions and characters. Some of these include:

  • Mickey Mouse
  • Minnie Mouse
  • Pluto
  • Chip & Dale
  • Coco
  • Goofy, Pete, Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow
  • Finding Dory
  • Haunted Mansion
  • Monsters, Inc.
  • Pirates of the Caribbean
  • Ratatouille
