There has been a lot of buzz about the park hour changes at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park. Before summer the park went to 11PM park closings for the first time in the park’s history. Evening shows and entertainment were offered to entertain guests later into the evening.
Now reports show that the Jungle Book: Alive With Magic show will officially end after September 5th (this isn’t a surprise since it was announced as a short-term show). The closing time for the park also changes to 9AM. It changes again in October to 7PM, and then in November to 6PM.
There have been no announcements as to whether this will be a permanent change back to an earlier closing park, or if this is only until Rivers of Light is finally ready to open to guests. This means the nighttime safari will not be regular attraction for the holiday months, based on these hours. So we’ll just have to wait and see what announcements are made in the coming months!
