News: Magical Express Testing Downtown Disney Pickups

Disney’s Magical Express has just begun testing a potential new service that Disney Dining thinks is a genius idea, adding Downtown Disney as a potential pick up location for your return trip to the airport!  For the month of August, Magical Express is conducting a test pickup service for quests staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort.

Guests can choose to be picked up from Downtown Disney rather than their resort. Eligible Guests must have a domestic flight that departs from Orlando International Airport between 3pm and midnight or an international flight between 4pm and 1am on the day of check-out.

The pickup location at Downtown Disney in the parking lot near the Raglan Road Restaurant.  There is signage indicating the location and cast members in the area will be on hand to assist guests.

Hopefully, the test will lead to a further roll out, giving guests the ability to shop and dine at Downtown Disney before returning to the airport.
