New “Conewiches” Now in Downtown Disney!

We stopped by to get a few pics for Disney Dining fans of the Conewiches now available in Downtown Disney in Orlando.  (The things we do for our readers, sigh!)

Conewiches were first featured in Cars Land at Disney’s California Adventure and quickly became a hit there.

Marketplace Snacks near World of Disney at Downtown Disney’s Marketplace now offers two Conewiches – a Chili Cone Queso with beef and red kidney bean chili and cheese, and a Meatball Cone with turkey meatballs in marinara sauce with provolone cheese – both served in a savory cone.  Each are $9.50 and come with a bag of Disney Chips.  We may or may not have tasted them and they may or may not have been delicious!

Marketplace Snacks is located directly across from the Team Mickey Store on the Marketplace side of Downtown Disney.

It seems like they are still trying to get the bugs worked out of the system.  Although Marketplace Snacks opens earlier, they don’t start serving the Conewiches until 11am.  However, they still did not have all the ingredients delivered to make the Chili Cone Queso until after 11:30pm.   They have only been serving them since this past Wednesday so we will cut them some slack for the delay.  In fact, the server actually offered me a free Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar to make up for the wait.

This is a unique and needed  addition to quick service in the DTD area.  Enjoy the pictures and make sure to try one next time you are here.  Remember to get plenty of napkins.  You are eating chili or meatballs out of a CONE!
