Many guests find that they prefer to rent a stroller while at Walt Disney World. Within the entrance to each of the theme parks, there is a stroller rental location that typically only offers hard plastic strollers. There is a single and double stroller option, with the single costing $15 and the double costing $31. We have learned that Disney’s Animal Kingdom has been testing three new stroller rentals. These new strollers are cloth based as opposed to the hard plastic base of the other strollers. The three options consist of a standard single stroller, a double/tandem stroller and a larger single stroller with more space. The single and the double/tandem stroller are a turquoise color and the larger single stroller is a navy blue color.
The larger single stroller is expected to accommodate children that are taller. There is currently only a limited number of the strollers available since they are still in test mode. We would assume that based on guest feedback, these strollers may become a regular offering. The are currently offered on a first come first served basis and aren’t available until 9:45 AM instead of right at park opening. We expect that these strollers are more difficult to clean than the original plastic strollers.
What do you think of these new stroller offerings?
