New Restaurant Coming to Japan Pavilion at Walt Disney World’s Epcot

Disney Parks Blog made an exciting announcement for all of the foodies out there!  It looks like there will be a new table service restaurant coming to the Japan pavilion at Epcot’s World Showcase.   The new Walt Disney World restaurant will be a signature dining experience that is inspired by the natural beauty of Japan.  The new restaurant location will be operated by the same operators of Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining, Mitsukoshi USA.  Mitsukoshi USA is also the operator of the merchandise location and the various kiosks throughout the Japan pavilion.

Per Disney Parks Blog, “The setting will draw from both nature and takumi, which means “artisan” in Japanese, and the relationship between Japanese craftsmanship and the natural world will be evident throughout the space.”

We are sure that this new restaurant will be a great addition to the cultural experiences that the World Showcase has to offer.  We can’t wait to learn more about it and what the restaurant will offer!
