We can’t get enough of the banshees in Pandora – The World of Avatar! Pandora – The World of Avatar is a themed land within Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World. We are excited to learn about another new banshee coming to The Rookery at Windtraders! This one is the Night Blossom banshee, which is inspired by the beautiful plant life throughout Pandora. Per Disney Parks Blog, “Bathed in shades of purple, fuchsia, green and orange, this new banshee joins a colorful flock of banshees that guests can connect with during their visit. It will contain authentic sounds and includes three ranges of motion – mouth, head, and wings – that are controlled by hand.”
In a great nod to Disney’s mission for conservation efforts, guests who connect with one of the banshees are encourages to make a pledge to respect and protect the natural world on Pandora and back home on Earth. Upon seeing other banshee keepers, guests should use the traditional Na’vi phrase of greeting and respect, “Oel Ngati Kameie” (“I See You”).

Annual Passholders are eligible to receive a 20% discount on banshee purchases, while Disney Vacation Club Members are eligible to receive 10% off.
