With the introduction of Moana’s characters, Adventureland has been enhanced in a way that resonates with a new generation of fans. The vibrant personalities and heartwarming backstory of Moana and her friends are fitting additions to the already immersive atmosphere of the park. The inclusion of Hei Hei and Pua introduces a playful spirit to this area, promoting laughter and joy among guests.
The character changes are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to future plans at Disneyland Paris. A new water log flume ride themed around The Lion King has been announced, which aims to deliver a thrilling adventure that has yet to be experienced in the park. Set to open in 2026, this ride promises to excite fans of the iconic film and will mark the first time The Lion King has a dedicated attraction at Disneyland Paris.
In addition, the park is eagerly preparing for the World of Frozen expansion, scheduled for the same year. This new land will invite guests into a world based on Disney’s acclaimed Frozen franchise, featuring attractions and experiences that bring to life the beloved characters and magical landscapes of Arendelle.
As part of these changes, Walt Disney Studios Park will be rebranded as Disney Adventure World. This new name signals a shift that allows for more creativity and flexibility in what can be offered to visitors, enriching their experience with a diverse array of characters and attractions.
