At EPCOT, Disney Vacation Club members enrolled in the Membership Magic Beyond tier are discovering a brand-new way to connect with the most famous duo in Disney history. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse have stepped into new, travel-inspired outfits, exclusive to this elevated membership level.
The debut is happening inside the Disney Vacation Club ImaginAtrium—A Member Lounge at EPCOT, where members often enjoy a quiet retreat from the park. Now, the space also sets the stage for a one-of-a-kind character experience.
“Meet and mingle with special Disney Characters daily from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (subject to change) at Disney Vacation Club ImaginAtrium—A Member Lounge at EPCOT,” the DVC website shares. “The enrolled Member can bring up to 4 guests or the number of guests on their resort stay reservation, whichever is greater. Available 7 days a week. Capacity restrictions may apply.”
Notably, these appearances are limited only to Magic Beyond members, highlighting the unique access offered at this tier.
According to the DVC site, Membership Magic Beyond is described as “our boldest expression of value and flexibility,” focused on greater access, more choice, and tailored benefits. The exclusive meet-and-greet fits seamlessly with this framework, presenting members with something few others will ever see.
By placing Mickey and Minnie’s new ensembles behind the Magic Beyond threshold, DVC emphasizes the tier’s role as more than just an upgrade—it’s a way to experience personalized magic.
Costumes play a key role in character storytelling, and each new look adds to the experience of meeting Mickey and Minnie. Their travel-themed ensembles carry forward Disney’s tradition of seasonal and thematic attire while also layering in exclusivity.
Hints in Disney Files Magazine suggest additional travel looks for Mickey and Minnie could arrive in the future. For now, however, these designs remain part of the Magic Beyond experience at EPCOT.
Some may see the exclusivity as a reward for investing in a premium membership, while others may view it as another example of tiered guest access. Either way, it underscores how Disney continues to explore new ways of delivering benefits for DVC members.
