The holidays are over, and it is time to make your way to the Most Magical Place on Earth to check out all of the amazing artwork, food, and merchandise at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts. The popular annual Festival will run from January 14 through February 21 and features a number of talented artists and their beautiful tributes to Disney. Festival of the Arts celebrates all forms of art — from visual arts to culinary arts and performing arts — and now you can see some gorgeous art reflected on the icon of EPCOT, Spaceship Earth.

Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley shared on Instagram that a brand-new light show will be coming to Spaceship Earth to celebrate the Festival. Spaceship Earth has been featuring a wonderful array of lights since the beginning of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, when it became a Beacon of Magic. Now it will become a canvas for even more beauty created by talented Imagineers.
Along with the start of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, our Imagineers have brought Spaceship Earth into the mix of color and artistic vibrancy of this year’s festival. Accompanied by The Muppets performing “Rainbow Connection”, Spaceship Earth will debut a brand-new light show that will feature our color and rainbow motifs seen throughout the festival imagery.
A huge congratulations to our team of Imagineers for dreaming this up and bringing it to life for our Guests and fans of The Muppets to enjoy nightly throughout the duration of the festival!

As you can see, Spaceship Earth’s new show features the colors of the rainbow, which is one of the symbols of the festival. If you are in the Parks during the day, check out your My Disney Experience app to see showtimes for the new show. Your My Disney Experience app will also be able to show you all the tasty food that you can purchase at the Festival Booths that line World Showcase Lagoon.

In addition to seeing the beauty of Spaceship Earth, if you stick around until closing, you can also see the new nighttime show, Harmonious, which happens in the World Showcase Lagoon.
