New James Bond Era Could See THIRD Actor Cast (Two Are Confirmed)

The James Bond franchise is undergoing a major evolution, with not one, but potentially three new interpretations of the iconic spy underway. Fans of the British super-spy have plenty to be excited about as new projects unfold across multiple platforms.

First, there’s “007 First Light”, the upcoming game that will explore Bond’s younger years, a new installment that’s already generating buzz following its trailer premiere.

Then there’s the untitled film reboot from director Denis Villeneuve (Blade Runner 2049, Dune), which will bring a new face to the role.

The Rumored Bond Stunt Show at Universal GB

But the third project, which is yet to be confirmed, may be the most thrilling of all: a James Bond stunt show that’s rumored to be heading to Universal Studios Great Britain.

Universal’s ambitious new theme park resort has the potential to offer a variety of exciting Bond-related experiences. The rumored stunt show is expected to follow the format of The Bourne Stuntacular, Universal Orlando’s high-energy attraction that blends live action with state-of-the-art technology to deliver an immersive experience.

If the Bond attraction mirrors that model, guests can expect thrilling chase scenes, dramatic fight sequences, and stunning visuals that bring the world of 007 to life in a whole new way.

We May Get a THIRD James Bond Actor

A stunt show would also require a new actor to step into the shoes of Bond in the same way the upcoming film will cast someone into the role.

“007 First Light” has already cast a new actor. Though he’s yet to be confirmed, many fans believe it’s Patrick Gibson, who’s best known playing the young Dexter Morgan in the Paramount+ series Dexter: Original Sin (2024).

If those Bond stunt show rumors at Universal Studios GB are true, we’ll be entering an era populated with three 007 actors. So maniacal super-villains like Ernst Stavro Blofeld and Jaws, and anyone else hellbent on global destruction, should probably brace themselves.
