New Holiday Decorations Debuted at Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World

We previously announced that Disney’s Animal Kingdom would debut new holiday decorations in each of the themed lands in the park as well as new festive entertainment. We are excited that the day has finally come and today these new offerings debut. The fun starts at Discovery Island where there will be life-sized animal puppets during the day and then the Tree of Life will have a new series of wintry tales and new holiday music periodically throughout the evening!

DinoLand, U.S.A. will feature Donald and his friends at Donald’s Dino-Bash all dressed up in festive attire and with colorful holiday decorations.

The Asia area of the park will be celebrating Diwali, which is the Holiday Festival of Lights in India. There will be glowing lanterns as well as amazing cultural performances.

In Africa, there will be a unique take on the holiday where Western traditions will be fused with many of the colors and texture from authentic African celebrations.

Guests can also check out the fun over at Pandora – The World of Avatar. The residents of Pandora have brought the holidays to the area with some Earth decorations as well as ones that have been created in Pandora.
