It was supposed to be another enchanted night at Disneyland Park. But for those in New Orleans Square on April 12, the evening turned into an unforgettable and shocking ordeal when a guest stripped naked and climbed onto one of the park’s newest and most celebrated restaurants.
A Bizarre Scene Unfolds
Guests dining and exploring New Orleans Square — home to beloved attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion — were met with confusion and chaos as an unexpected disturbance began rippling through the area.
One witness, who shared their experience on Reddit as user LAZERPANDA15, said they noticed a group of concerned individuals — described as “moms” — telling people to keep children away from a specific area. Soon after, they observed the River Belle Terrace restaurant being cleared out.
The situation quickly escalated.
“There was a man who had taken off all of his clothes and was walking around the area naked,” the guest wrote. “Disney security created a barrier as they struggled to get the man under control.”

Climbing Trees and Shouting From Rooftops
The guest’s account continued as the man reportedly emerged from a nearby sidestreet, still undressed, and began climbing a tree.
“I couldn’t stop staring,” they said, “but that is when my spouse said, ‘Hey, you gotta stop staring. Our kid is going to see this. Let’s go.’”
Things didn’t end there. Witnesses say the man climbed onto Tiana’s Palace — the restaurant inspired by The Princess and the Frog, which opened in 2023 — and began yelling at the crowd below.
“Found an Instagram post about it,” one commenter wrote. “He apparently got on top of the Tiana cafe and was naked up there shouting at people. In the comments over there people were like in line for beignets and all of a sudden see him.”
The man reportedly screamed, “I AM EXPOSING MYSELF TO EXPOSE…” before the rest of the message was lost in the chaos. Another onlooker said he spoke of sexual violence and threatened to harm himself, scaring multiple families, including children.
Witnesses Take to Social Media
Social media lit up with real-time reactions as stunned guests processed what they had just seen:

Arrest Confirmed by Police
While rumors about the guest’s fate swirled online, the Anaheim Police Department confirmed to ABC7 that the man — identified only as a Canadian citizen — was arrested inside Disneyland Park on April 12.
He now faces multiple charges, including trespassing, public nudity, and being under the influence of narcotics.
Authorities reported that no one was physically harmed during the incident.
Not the First Incident of Its Kind
This isn’t the first time a naked guest has disrupted the peace at Disneyland. Back in November 2023, just days after Thanksgiving, another man stripped down inside the “it’s a small world” attraction. That guest entered restricted areas of the ride, sat down mid-scene, and continued wandering around before police ultimately arrested him.
In that case, the individual was charged with public indecency and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Security presence was increased around the Fantasyland attraction in the days that followed.

Many commenters speculated that the most recent offender is likely facing a lifetime ban from all Disney properties. The company is known to issue permanent bans in cases where guests display dangerous or disruptive behavior, especially when it impacts children and families.
Some guests also claimed that men in plain black shirts seen on the scene were likely undercover law enforcement who assisted with the situation.
