MyMagic Plus Roll Out Expanded and Accelerated

Disney World in Orlando is expanding and improving the MyMagic+ system.  During the next couple of months a reworked version of the ‘My Disney Experience’ web site and mobile app will be launched attempting to speed up the access and response times of the web and mobile platforms.

The use of FastPass+ by offsite guests will also be expanded to the remaining parks, paving the way for elimination of traditional FASTPASS system and to have all guests using FASTPASSs+ by the Spring of 2014.

Assuming the test and adjustment period goes as planned, the entire MyMagic+ project with all its components will be fully deployed and in use by all Walt Disney World guests by Spring 2014.  No official word has been released yet on Magic Bands for annual pass holders or about allowing offsite guests to make advance FASTPASS reservations.

MyMagic+ has received mostly positive reviews by on-site guests.  However, the offsite guest’s experiences have definitely been damaged.   Primarily, due to the lack of FASTPASS availability for off-site park guests.
