The Legoland Express launched in May 2026 and quietly added Disney Springs as one of its two Orlando-area pickup locations. The other stop is ICON Park. For families already spending time near Walt Disney World, this turns a trip to Legoland Florida from a logistical headache into something that practically plans itself.
What Legoland Florida Actually Is
If Legoland has been sitting on your maybe list for a while, here is the quick case for it. The park is built specifically for younger kids, generally the two-to-twelve crowd, and it delivers in ways that the bigger parks sometimes cannot for that age group. The rides are accessible, the theming is genuinely fun, and the pace of the day’s pace is much more manageable than a full Disney or Universal marathon. For families traveling with little ones who are not quite ready for the intensity of the major parks, Legoland Florida is worth every minute.
The park sits in Winter Haven, about 50 minutes from Walt Disney World, depending on traffic. Without a shuttle, that drive means navigating unfamiliar roads, dealing with parking, and burning energy before the day even starts. The Legoland Express solves all of that.
How It Works
The shuttle is operated by Mears and is wheelchair accessible. Guests who need a dedicated wheelchair space should book that ticket type specifically when reserving. Limited stroller storage is available on board as well.
Pickup times are designed to get guests to the park right around its 10 a.m. opening. The Disney Springs shuttle departs at 9 a.m., while the ICON Park pickup runs at 8:30 a.m. The return shuttle leaves 30 minutes after Legoland Florida closes for the day.
Seats need to be booked in advance through Legoland Florida’s website. Round-trip tickets start at eight dollars per person, which is genuinely one of the better deals in Orlando transportation right now.
When It Runs at Disney
The schedule shifts depending on the time of year. During the summer, the Legoland Express runs Thursday through Sunday. In September and October, it narrows to Friday and Saturday. November scheduling has not been announced yet.
