Easter is an extremely popular time at Walt Disney World. The parks are usually very crowded and there are numerous Easter events that happen at the parks. We previously reported the details on the Easter egg hunt that is going on at Epcot’s World Showcase. We now have details on other events and services that will be going on at Walt Disney World for guests that plan to spend their Easter at the parks.
The annual Easter egg display at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is scheduled to be on display. The extravagant and beautiful eggs will officially be on display from April 11th through April 19th. The eggs are made out of chocolate and other edible ingredients and perfectly designed by renowned pastry chefs. They are themed after different Disney movies, parks, attractions and more. You definitely want to head over to see these in person since the pictures just don’t do them justice.
There will be religious Easter services offered on Easter Sunday, April 16th, for guests that wish to partake in such services. Easter services will be given in the Fantasia Ballroom at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The services are as follows:
- Catholic Mass: 8AM and 10:30AM
- Protestant Service: 9:15AM
