One important caveat: police calls at Walt Disney World Resort are typically logged to central addresses rather than the exact location of an incident. The map pin tied to the call may not pinpoint the exact area where the missing endangered person report actually originated.

As of publication, neither Walt Disney World Resort nor the Orange County Sheriff’s Office has released any details about the investigation or the individual involved. Quick resolutions to missing person calls at the Central Florida Disney parks rarely result in any public disclosure.
No Impact to Park Operations
Despite the law enforcement presence, Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Contemporary Resort appeared to operate without interruption on Thursday afternoon. The Monorail ran its normal route between Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the Transportation & Ticket Center, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and the walking path between Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Contemporary Resort remained accessible.

Guests who encounter law enforcement activity at Walt Disney World Resort are encouraged to follow directions from both deputies and Disney cast members. Disney does its best to minimize operational impacts from police investigations on its property.
