Original Mickey Mouse To Disappear From Disney Park Experience Next Year

Disneyland Paris Resort has unveiled new details about the evolving identity of its second theme park, Walt Disney Studios Park (soon to be Disney Adventure World). As part of the announcement, the resort confirmed that a refreshed version of Mickey Mouse will greet guests beginning in March 2026, coinciding with the opening of the newly reimagined European Disney park.

Disney Adventure World Prepares for Its 2026 Debut

The park now known as Walt Disney Studios Park is undergoing a transformation, designed to shift its focus from filmmaking to immersive storytelling. On November 24, Disneyland Paris Resort announced that the reimagined Disney Adventure World will open to the public on March 29, 2026.

When it opens, the refreshed park will offer a range of new and updated spaces, including the World of Pixar, Marvel Avengers Campus, a Tangled (2010) attraction, the World of Frozen, and 15 new dining locations. Guests will also be able to experience Disney Cascade of Lights, an all-new nighttime spectacular with state-of-the-art drone technology.

World of Frozen Expands the Park’s Lineup

The World of Frozen will open on the same day as Disney Adventure World debuts. Inspired by Frozen (2013), the land will include two attractions: Frozen Ever After and Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. Disney Park guests will also be able to meet Anna, Elsa, and an advanced Olaf audio-animatronic in Arendelle, surrounded by landmarks such as the North Mountain and Elsa’s Ice Palace.
