Mickey Mouse Is Getting a Makeover, Disney Confirms

Mickey and Minnie Mouse are sporting new sailor-inspired spring outfits at EPCOT, Disney announced Monday, though the refreshed looks are available only to select Disney Vacation Club members.

On March 2, Disney Vacation Club shared a photo on Instagram of the characters in their nautical costumes, available only during set hours at the ImaginAtrium – A Member Lounge in the Imagination! Pavilion:

The sailor outfits appear exclusively during Membership Magic Beyond hours—currently 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily, subject to change. Disney Vacation Club members must purchase the separate $99 annual Membership Magic Beyond package to meet the characters during these windows. The package, which is available now, offers benefits through December 31, 2026.

Standard DVC membership alone isn’t enough. Members can access the ImaginAtrium Lounge during regular hours without Membership Magic Beyond, but Mickey and Minnie only wear the special costumes during the exclusive paid timeframe.

DVC members visiting during Membership Magic Beyond hours can bring up to four guests, or their entire Disney Resort hotel reservation party, whichever is larger. No reservations required, but capacity limits apply.

Disney Vacation Club is basically Disney’s timeshare program. Members purchase into a “home” resort for upfront costs plus annual dues, receiving points for stays at DVC properties at Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Disney’s Vero Beach, Disney’s Hilton Head Island, Aulani in Hawaii, Adventures by Disney experiences, and more.

Free DVC tours and consultations are available at information desks in Disney Resort hotels, the Disney theme parks, and Disney Springs.
