The Disney-owned construction projects have stopped during the closure, but that does not mean that there has been no construction over the past two months. The work on the McDonald’s that is in the All-Star Resorts area, not far from Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, is almost finished.
The fast food restaurant closed back in October, 2019 for a lengthy refurbishment. The building was demolished. The new structure is larger, and it features upgrades such as a solar roof. The new building now sports the famous Golden Arches logo, and there are plants outside of the entrance.

There is no word on when the refurbished Mickey D’s will open. Chances are it will remain closed until the resorts reopen. The restaurant is a popular place to grab breakfast, or a late night snack after spending a day in the theme parks. It is one of two McDonald’s locations on Walt Disney World property. The other is located near the Transportation & Ticket Center.
