There are so many great shows and experiences to enjoy in the World Showcase area of Walt Disney World’s Epcot theme park. You can experience a variety of different cultures and cultural stories in a way unlike you can anywhere else. We learned from Disney Parks Blog that starting on March 6th, 2019 guests will be able to see the story of Disney•Pixar’s Coco come to live at the Mexico pavilion in the World Showcase. This experience will be brought to us all, courtesy of Mariachi Cobre.
Here is the synopsis of the experience from Disney Parks Blog:
The immensely talented musicians of Mariachi Cobre are joined by a pair of Folklórico dancers to tell the tale of Miguel Rivera, his love of music, and his journey to find what matters most – his familia. The dancers perform to the music of the film, pulling everyone into the celebration, and Miguel himself appears in the form of a whimsical, hand-crafted puppet.
Mariachi Cobre will also still delight guests with their performances of traditional mariachi music as well, so guests will still get to this popular experience, too. The new performance will be around just in time for the Epcot International Flower & Garden festival, so be sure to check it out while you can!
