At 7:53 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17, scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime posted an active law enforcement alert on X (formerly Twitter) tied to an address on Via Encinas — a road winding through the Bonnet Creek hotel complex located within Walt Disney World Resort’s property boundaries:

🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 03/17/26 07:53 am
🚨: Missing Endangered Person at 📍: Via Encinas

Via Encinas loops around three hotels in the area: Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek, Bonnet Creek Resort, and Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek. All three sit inside the Walt Disney World Resort gates, positioned closest to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, though none of the properties belong to Disney. The exact location from which the endangered person went missing within that corridor has not been identified.

As of publication, it is unknown whether the individual has been found. Walt Disney World Resort has not addressed the incident publicly, and local law enforcement has also remained silent on the matter.

The incident does not appear to have affected theme park operations. Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Disney Springs were all running without disruption in the hours following the law enforcement response on Tuesday morning. Disney Dining will continue monitoring this situation and report any meaningful updates as they emerge.

Guests on property who encounter police activity, first responders, or restricted areas should follow all guidance from responding authorities and Disney cast members.
