Magical Express Changes Pick-Up Windows at Walt Disney World

In November of 2017, Walt Disney World had updated the Magical Express service to pick guests up for domestic flights 4 hours in advance of their flight, instead of the previous 3 hours in advance.  This was put into effect due to increased security measures at Orlando International airport during the busy holiday season.  Disney wanted to be sure that guests would make it through security in time for their return flights.  It appears that Disney has reviewed this policy and determined that the pick-up windows could return to 3 hours in advance.  This change back will take effect starting on January 11th, 2018.  Guests who are catching International flights will still be picked up 4 hours prior to their flight.

Disney’s Magical Express is the transportation service that Disney uses to take guests and their bags to and from the airport for their stay at Walt Disney World.  It is a free service that is included with all Disney resort stays.  Guests will receive a notice at their room the day prior to check-out which will include their exact pickup time and information about the check-in service for luggage.
