Magic Kingdom to Celebrate 45th Anniversary at Walt Disney World

October 1st marks 45 years since the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World greeted its first guest.  Disney has announced that there will be a celebration to commemorate this anniversary that will include a special show, commemorative merchandise and festive treats.  The details haven’t been completely released, but we do know that there will be a presentation/show on the stage in front of Cinderella’s Castle right at 9:30AM.  If you plan to see this show, you should try to get there WAY early.  It is sure to be very crowded that day.  The merchandise varies in items including shirts, purses, pins, Magic Bands, etc.  There are limited quantities of these items, so you will want to act fast.  The treats haven’t been formally announced, but we expect them to be absolutely amazing!  We also expect to see lots of other extras that day that could possibly include special buttons, additional character meetings, celebrities, etc.  As soon as we hear more, we will update here so that you have the latest and greatest for this fabulous celebration.
