Disney World Guest Claims Someone Gave Her Meth at Resort Hotel

A Walt Disney World Resort guest was arrested for attempting to bring methamphetamine into Magic Kingdom Park. According to a newly released report from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the Kentucky woman, Brandi Asher, 37, allegedly received the drugs from a stranger during her stay at a nearby resort hotel.

On May 20, 2025, Asher and her husband arrived at Walt Disney World Resort’s Transportation & Ticket Center (TTC). This area serves as the central hub for guests to park their vehicles, ride parking trams, undergo security screenings, and board transportation to Magic Kingdom Park or EPCOT.

During a routine bag check at the TTC, Disney security cast member Frederick Ciadrdi noticed a small metal tin in Asher’s bag. Upon shaking the container, the cast member encountered an unusual silence, which prompted him to open it. Inside, he discovered a white powdery substance and other items that didn’t seem to fit a typical park bag.

“Frederick thought that was strange and opened the tin can and discovered small white items inside of the can, including a long white cylinder, which looked like a pen, and two small plastic baggies with something white inside of them,” a law enforcement officer explained in the arrest report. When questioned, Asher claimed the items were part of her medicine for headaches, saying it was “goodies [sic], headache power.”

Asher became visibly nervous and told the security cast member to dispose of the items.

“Brandi started shaking and telling Frederick that he could just throw the items away,” the report continued. However, Asher was told that throwing the items away wasn’t an option. She then tried to take the items back and put them into her pockets.

Moments later, an Orange County Sheriff’s deputy arrived to examine the substance. The officer confirmed that the items were indeed methamphetamine and explained that the “long white cylinder” was commonly used for snorting meth. The law enforcement officer reported that Asher was “very honest” about what had happened.

Asher reportedly told authorities that a stranger had approached her during her stay at the Westgate Resort. The stranger offered her methamphetamine, which she accepted without telling her husband. She initially planned to leave the drugs in her room, but accidentally brought them with her when she traveled to Walt Disney World Resort.

Asher later handed over a clear baggie containing the same crystal-like substance found in the metal tin. According to the arrest report, “Inside Brandy’s front left pocket, there were two crystal rocks matching the other substances.”

In June 2025, Asher pleaded not guilty to a third-degree felony charge of possession of methamphetamine.

Walt Disney World Resort maintains a strict policy prohibiting “marijuana (including marijuana enriched products) or any illegal substance” from being brought onto its property.
