Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy Coming to Walt Disney World in 2019

We have an exciting announcement for all of the Lightning McQueen fans out there!   Disney Parks Blog announced that a new event will be coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in early 2019.  There will be a new Lightning McQueen Racing Academy show that will be an exciting show featuring the world of Disney•Pixar’s “Cars.”  We don’t have a ton of details yet and we definitely can’t wait to learn more! We have shared what we know thus far below.

The new show, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy, will be located near Aerosmith’s Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.  During this show you will see Lightning McQueen showing off of all the great things that he has learned from all of his racing over the years. Of course Lightning McQueen’s friends will be there, including favorites like Tow Mater, Cruz Ramirez and other favorites from Radiator Springs.

We can’t wait to learn more about this new show and what to expect.  Of course we will share all of the details as soon as we have them, so stay tuned!
