Holiday Crowds Overwhelm Disney World, Guests Spend $400 Daily To Skip Lines

The holiday season has brought massive crowds to Walt Disney World Resort, leading many guests to turn to the premium Lightning Lane Premier Pass as a solution to long wait times. Priced as high as $400 per day, this exclusive pass has become the go-to splurge for families hoping to navigate the Disney parks with less stress during one of the busiest weeks of the year.

Introduced in October 2024, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass grants one-time access to every Lightning Lane queue at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Guests can enjoy Single Pass attractions like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, TRON Lightcycle / Run, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind without the need to schedule return times. The flexibility of riding at one’s leisure sets this pass apart from the standard Multi Pass.
