This week is an exciting one at Disneyland near Anaheim, California, as Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock announced the names of the resort’s new 2024-2025 Disney Ambassador Team members.
It’s an exciting time at Disneyland Resort as Walt’s first theme park resort has just named the members of its 2024-2025 Disney Ambassador Team. They are Raul Aquino Rojas and Jada Young, and while Disneyland Resort couldn’t be any happier about their new Ambassador Team, the resort’s new Ambassadors seem extremely excited about the news too!
On September 27, surrounded by family, friends, fellow cast members, and the Disney Ambassadors who served before them, Jada Young and Raul Aquino Rojas were announced by Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock as the 2024-2025 Disney Ambassador Team.
Jada and Raul will represent over 34,000 cast members across Disneyland Resort, leading and participating in cast member events, sharing the #DisneyCastLife experience through storytelling and social media, and representing the resort in media interviews – to name just a few of the duties of this prestigious role that was started by Walt Disney nearly 60 years ago.
Meet Ambassador Jada Young
A native of Long Beach, California, Jada Young has always been a fan of Disneyland Resort, as it played a big role in her childhood. One of her most favorite memories at Disneyland is the very first time she had the opportunity to perform with her school choir at the Royal Theater in Fantasyland, located at Disneyland Park.
Jada says she is so thankful to her family and friends for their support and sacrifices that allowed her to have the opportunities she has enjoyed.
Jada began working at Disneyland in 2017 when she was hired as a cast member at the premier tire shop at Radiator Springs, which is where guests can find Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters in the fun and exciting Cars Land area at Disney California Adventure:
As an attractions cast member, Jada’s leaders have supported her development all around the resort. Throughout the last six years, she’s held leadership roles such as Core Lead and Trainer in both attractions and Special Event Operations. She also worked with the Youth Education Series (Y.E.S.) Program as a facilitator for Disney’s Approach to Leadership and Teamwork. After returning from the resort’s closure, she was a part of the opening team of Avengers Campus and helped kick off the Disney100 celebrations as a Disney Media Rep.
Meet Ambassador Raul Aquino Rojas
Jada will be working closely with her closest teammate and fellow Disney Ambassador, Raul Aquino Rojas.
Raul was born in Mexico and moved to Lynwood, California, at the age of one. As a young child, Raul loved watching Winnie the Pooh, and when he was just seven years old, he was introduced to the magic of Disneyland Resort. Raul says the memories he has made at Disneyland alongside his family over the years have stayed with him, keeping the magic always alive in him.
Raul began his career with The Walt Disney Company in 2019 when he was hired as a Disney PhotoPass Photographer at Disneyland Resort:
He currently enjoys leading his cast both within Disney Photo Imaging and Guest Show Operations teams. In his spare time, he enjoys tapping into his creative passions through photography and writing. You can often find him on adventures hiking and camping out in nature.
Jada and Raul comprise the 50th Disney Ambassador Team at Disneyland Resort in California. Former Disney Ambassadors Mark Everett King, Jr., and Nataly Guzman Garcia will serve as mentors to Jada and Raul over their terms as Ambassadors, and who’s better for the role of mentoring than Mark and Nataly, who have two years of experience, countless speaking engagements, and relationships with thousands of cast members under their belts?
With a team of mentors and other members of Disney’s leadership there to guide them, there’s no stopping Jada and Raul on their paths to success as Disneyland Resort’s Ambassadors for 2024 and 2025. Congratulations!
