Ideas for Having a Great Day at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World

Every Walt Disney World vacation includes lots of time spent in the four Disney Parks enjoying attractions, entertainment, and more. While the Disney Parks are incredible, sometimes guests look for activities outside of the parks where they can have a more leisurely pace and enjoy various experiences. Disney Springs is just the place to visit as it requires no ticket and is filled with amazing dining, shopping, and entertainment experiences that can keep guests occupied for an entire day! From breakfast to nightlife, there is plenty to enjoy in Disney Springs and guests might be surprised at some of the incredible experiences waiting there for them! Here are some amazing things to enjoy while spending a day at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World.

  

1. Breakfast at Wolfgang Puck Express at Disney Springs Marketplace

A busy day in Disney Springs simply must start with a delicious breakfast so that guests can be sure that they have the energy to make it through a fun filled day in the location. A great place to enjoy a quick service breakfast in Disney Springs is Wolfgang Puck Express at Disney Springs Marketplace. 4. Visit The Void

Virtual reality brings some incredible experiences to life at a unique and popular location in Disney Springs. The Void offers up two experiences where guests are outfitted in gear and step into immersive worlds that they magically are a part of. Star Wars Secrets of the Empire has guests undercover dressed like stormtroopers searching for imperial intelligence to return to the rebellion. Ralph Breaks VR brings the world and characters of Wreck It Ralph to life with guests sneaking into the internet and finding themselves in the middle of a food fight at the Pancake Milkshake Diner.

5. Lunch at D-Luxe Burger

After a busy morning in Disney Springs, guests will definitely be ready to enjoy some lunch and D-Luxe Burger is the perfect quick service location to visit. Located in the Town Center area of Disney Springs, the location serves up delicious burgers and shakes that guests are sure to love. Some popular menu items at D-Luxe Burger include the El Diablo Burger, Barbecue Burger, Vegan Burger, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Cake Gelato Shake, Vanilla Gelato Shake, and S’mores Gelato Shake.

6. Bowling at Splitsville

After lunch, guests can enjoy a fun activity in a popular location. Splitsville is a large bowling complex themed to feel like the classic bowling allies of the 1950s with retro décor. Morimoto Asia is operated by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto and serves up Pan-Asian cuisine in a modern setting. Guests can enjoy two floors of dining areas with unique views into the kitchens where chefs prepare wonderful menu options including fresh sushi, Crispy Popcorn Shrimp Tempura, Chicken Wings, Shishito Peppers, Angry Chicken, Morimoto Peking Duck, Tonkotsu Ramen, and Spicy Pork Ramen.

9. Drinks at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar

After dinner, guests should visit Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar for some delicious cocktails. Themed to feel like the hangout of Indiana Jones’ pilot friend, the location has lots of details and décor that transform the room into a 1940s airplane hangar. In addition to small bites like Snakebite Sliders, Air Pirate’s Pretzels, and Chen’s BBQ Pork Skewers, guests can indulge in cocktails such as the Anything Goes, The Bitter Barkeep, Safari Sangria, The Scottish Professor, and Bedtime Story.

10. Entertainment at The Edison

The perfect ending to any day in Disney Springs occurs at The Edison, a unique entertainment spot designed to feel like a 1920s electric company with lots of industrial details. While the setting is wonderful, it is the wide array of live entertainment that guests are sure to love. Depending on the night and time, entertainment at The Edison can include aerialists, contortionists, DJs, live cabaret, and more and guests can enjoy it all while sipping unique drinks such as the Smokey Lobos Mule, Green Electron, Leather & Tweed, The Capone Special, and Berry Smash.
