How Disneyland Annual Passholders Can Celebrate Magic Key Holder Month in Downtown Disney

February is nearly here, and that means that Disneyland Resort will soon begin celebrating its annual passholders — now called Magic Key Holders — with its Magic Key Holder Celebration Month. So far, Disney has revealed that all month long, Magic Key Holders will have access to special downloads and trivia through the Magic Key Portal on the Disneyland app, as well as have the chance to score some free sunglasses and exclusive Magic Shots when they visit both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.

Now, Disney is sharing a number of locations in Downtown Disney that will be offering special freebies and menu items for Magic Key Holders. Let’s take a look at all of the places Magic Key Holders can celebrate themselves in the Downtown Disney District!

Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen

One of the most popular sit-down spots in Downtown Disney, Ralph Brennan’s offers up some truly delicious southern classics like Shrimp and Grits, Jambalaya, Blackened Salmon, and Beignets. For Magic Key Holder Celebration Month, the menus will also include the Ima’gin’ Cocktail, which is a beautiful purple cocktail — most likely made with gin — and topped with a piece of purple rock candy.

Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes

Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes only opened in Downtown Disney in 2019, but has already gained a cult following for its delicious offerings like fried pickles, the Wagyu Steakhouse Burger, and the Pizza Burger. It is also known for its crazy shakes, traditional ice cream shakes topped with non-traditional items like Pop-Tarts and slices of cake. For magic Key Holder Celebration Month, they will be adding another stunning shake to their menu.

The Magic Shake will be a “secret menu item” that will be a Blueberry Classic Shake topped with sprinkles, whipped cream, and a cherry. If you have not dined at Black Tap yet, this shake may be the perfect introduction to the scrumptious food offered there!

Wetzel’s Pretzels

Now, Wetzel’s Pretzels is a favorite for many people who like to spend some time in a shopping mall, but it is also a popular spot for Disneyland visitors to stop for a quick and yummy snack. Wetzel’s has everything from traditional pretzels to pizza pretzels and pretzels dogs. During Magic Key Holder Month, those Guests who present a valid Magic Key will be able to receive a special pin — and there is not just one design. There are five fun designs that Guests have the opportunity to receive.

World of Disney / Wonderground Gallery

World of Disney is the ultimate one-stop shop for all things Disneyland, and Wonderground Gallery is where you can find some truly incredible Disney artwork. Both Downtown Disney locations will also be participating in Magic Key Holder Celebration Month by offering a free Avengers Campus blueprint map to all Magic Key Holders (limit one per Key Holder). The lithograph map is the perfect piece of exclusive Disney merchandise that you can put in a frame and add to your Disney collection.

It is important to note that the pins and the lithograph will be available while supplies last. Guests may be asked to present their Magic Key in order to receive their free items. Magic Key Holder celebration will run from February 1 through February 28, 2022. Unlike Disneyland and California Adventure, a theme park reservation is not required to visit Downtown District.
