Hocus Pocus Merchandise Not on Sale at First Halloween Party at Walt Disney World

The first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party of the 2017 fall season was held last night on August 25th in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.  Many guests were expecting the party to include Hocus Pocus themed merchandise for sale at the park and were unpleasantly surprised to find that the merchandise wasn’t available for purchase.  The expected merchandise included pins, shirts, Magic Bands, totes, figurines, etc.  Guests definitely noticed that the merchandise wasn’t there and left the party wondering where it was at.

There are different rumors circulating as to why this happened.  The first of the rumors is that the merchandise supply just didn’t arrive in time in order to be sold for the first party.  Another rumor is that there is a legal or licensing issue with the merchandise that prevents Disney from actually being able to sell it to guests.  These rumors are just speculation at this point and we won’t know for sure until we either hear official word from Disney or see the merchandise appear at a future Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.

Of course we will update as soon as we hear more about this much desired merchandise!  Which of the fabulous Sanderson Sister items were you most hoping to get your hands on?

Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips… More »
