Goofy is one of my favorite Disney characters, and sometimes I feel like he doesn’t get enough love being overshadowed by Mickey and Donald. He has a big heart and is always looking out for his friends even if he is sometimes a little clumsy in the way he operates. If you are a Goofy Fan too, here are 8 ways to get your Goofy Fix at Walt Disney World:
Â
8. Buy a Goofy Hat
Nothing advertises your Goofy Fan status more than wearing one of the literally goofy hats offered up for sale at Walt Disney World. You know the one I’m talking about, Goofy eyes on the hat, big long brim for his nose, teeth hanging down and ears hanging off the sides. They are equally adorable on 6 year olds and grown adults. Buy one early in your trip so you can enjoy wearing it throughout your vacation.
7. Goofy in Relocated Character Spot
The regular Character Spot at Epcot has been temporary relocated to the backside of Innoventions. If you go past the former Character Spot, you’ll find Goofy on the right as if headed to The Seas with Nemo and Friends. Goofy is here in his traditional outfit. I feel like I always get a great interaction with Goofy in Epcot, as he’s always clowning around! Be sure to keep an eye on your My Disney Experience App for meet and greet times and locations as Epcot continues to undergo refurbishment.
6. Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party
This Street Party at Magic Kingdom is more of a pop up type of show than an actual parade. The floats come out and up Main Street and then park around the Hub near the castle for the show portion. It is interactive, high energy, and lots of fun, but not so “big” that you have to camp out for it. Goofy is in this parade performing so if you are a big fan you don’t want to miss his performance.

5. Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Café
Goofy is a popular guy and you can find him at several character meals around property. One of my favorites featuring Goofy is Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Café in Disney’s Beach Club Resort. Since it is at a resort you don’t need to worry about having theme park admission to meet Goofy! And this breakfast is one of my favorites. It feels a little more relaxed than others do to me (I’m looking at you Chef Mickey’s), and the food is really outstanding with your traditional breakfast favorites including an omelet station. And Goofy is absolutely adorable in his Beach gear!
4. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, Boo To You Parade
True Goofy fans will want to make a trip to Walt Disney World during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (select nights mid-August-October). Here you will find what I call “Willy Wonka” Goofy at the end of the parade driving his fantastical Candy Vehicle. The Boo to You parade at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite parades of all time at Walt Disney World, to me the parade plus the Hallowishes Fireworks are worth the price of admission to the party—you don’t want to miss it!
3. Goofy’s Candy Company, Disney Springs
Speaking of Goofy & Candy, you have to visit Goofy’s Candy Company at Disney Springs to get your Goofy fix. Goofy created a world of sweet creations that will make everyone’s sweet tooth happy. There is an entire wall full of candy, Goofy’s Glaciers, and my favorite part, the make your own creations of candy apples, marshmallow kebabs, or crisped rice treats. If you can’t make the trip to Disney Springs to visit Goofy’s Candy Company you can still sample his treats bagged up and ready to enjoy at most shops in Walt Disney World.
2. Storybook Circus Meet & Greet
One of my favorite Goofy personalities is the Great Goofini who meets his fans at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in the Magic Kingdom’s Storybook Circus. I love the circus related details of this meet and greet from the appearance of being inside the Big Top to Goofy’s backdrop showing his not quite successful attempts at a Circus Show.  Meeting Goofy also puts in you in line to meet Donald Duck as the Astounding Donaldo—so double the fun!
1. The Barnstormer Starring the Great Goofini
Not far from his meet & greet in Storybook Circus you’ll find Goofy’s signature attraction, The Barnstormer Starring the Great Goofini. This kiddie coaster still packs big thrills and lots of fun for kids of all ages. The ride is fairly short and you take some relatively gentle hills and turns riding in the plane of the barnstorming Goofini. Nearby you’ll find more ill-fated circus act attempts by the Great Goofini like his canine cannonball act. Goofy fans simply must take a spin on the Barnstormer!
