European-Inspired Amenities Coming for Disney’s Riviera Resort at Walt Disney World

We are so excited about Disney’s Riviera Resort.  This resort is sure to offer amazing experiences and stays for families for years to come at Walt Disney World.  Disney Parks Blog shared a fun photo of Walt with his family, enjoying the shores of France in the Riviera sunshine.  The thoughts of the Riviera are definitely more fun than the winter weather that many of us are dealing with!  Here is a look at the photo below:

Disney’s Riviera Resort will be the 15th Disney Vacation Club Resort and it is completely inspired by Europe.  We have renderings of areas of the resort, including pool areas.  The feature pool will give you the “relaxing feel of lounging around the Southern European coast where you can soak up the sun in lounge chairs or hang out beneath a colorful sun umbrella. Although, the inviting waters may call you to swim and play, or even take a winding ride down a stone turret slide.”  There will also be the S’il Vous Play area, which is a fun splash pad type of area.  There will also be a movie lawn nearby, which will be great for relaxing and enjoying the resort.

There will also be the Beau Soleil leisure pool, which will give you a feeling like you have “escaped to the tranquil European coast as you are surrounded by a natural, lush-green wall, creating a semi-private pool experience. The Beau Soleil will be the perfect place to kick back and relax under a blanket of sun, or enjoy a bit of quiet time beneath shaded seating areas, all nestled amidst a grove of tropical palm trees where you can enjoy a calm breeze.”

Bar Riva will be the open-air pool bar with a fun European coast vibe.  The bar will feature crisp white tiles, cool blue accents and places to relax with amazing views.  You can also relax by strolling along the promenade to enjoy all of the amazing views around the resort.

Disney’s Riviera Resort will also have its own Disney Skyliner gondola station.  The Disney Skyliner will take guests to Epcot International Gateway, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and Disney’s Pop Centure Resort.

We will definitely share more details as we have them about this amazing resort.  What do you all think about Disney’s Riviera so far?
