For the DVC 25th Anniversary celebration, Disney opened a member lounge on the 2nd floor of the Imagination! Pavilion at Epcot. The lounge has been a place where DVC members can relax and enjoy complimentary soft drinks and refreshments while they relax in a comfortable air conditioned lounge. There are also charging stations and cast members available to help with various needs and questions. It is now confirmed that with the popularity of the lounge, Disney will keep this lounge open into 2017. There is no end date for the lounge at this point, so it will be open indefinitely.
The lounge is open from 10AM to 6PM each day. You must present your Member ID and matching photo ID in order to enter the lounge. Each member is allowed to bring up to 5 guests into the lounge with them. It looks like many DVC members are taking advantage of this great perk to their membership. It will be interesting to see if we see similar lounges start to appear at other Disney theme parks.
