EPCOT’s 2026 Lineup Just Got Even Better With Major New Addition

Every winter, EPCOT transforms into a living art gallery. The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts has become one of Disney’s most creative events, blending food, live performances, and visual masterpieces into one dazzling experience. But in 2026, the festival will add a brand-new attraction that promises to make next year’s event stand out from the rest.

Disney has officially confirmed that the 2026 Festival of the Arts will take place from January 16 through February 23, and for the first time ever, Disney Lorcana will become part of the celebration. Lorcana, a collectible trading card game inspired by Disney stories and characters, will bring its imaginative artwork and interactive experiences to EPCOT.

The Art of Lorcana Comes to Life

Lorcana has taken the Disney fan world by storm since its release. The game lets players step into the role of an Ilumineer—a kind of magical artist who brings “glimmers” of Disney characters to life using enchanted inks. The cards are known for their gorgeous art, reimagining favorites like Mickey, Elsa, and Captain Hook with a creative twist.

It’s no surprise Disney chose to highlight Lorcana at a festival that celebrates artistic expression. Visitors will be able to explore exhibits featuring the game’s illustrations, join family-friendly activities inspired by Lorcana’s enchanted world, and possibly snag exclusive merchandise tied to the event.

A Natural Fit for EPCOT

EPCOT’s mission has always centered around imagination and discovery. That’s what makes Lorcana such a perfect match. The festival already offers food studios, mural painting, and the popular Disney on Broadway concert series—but Lorcana adds a new interactive dimension. It connects art and play in a way that fits right into EPCOT’s innovative DNA.

What Fans Can Expect

Disney hinted that the Lorcana addition is “just a teaser of what’s to come,” which suggests this partnership could expand in future festivals. Guests are already buzzing online about the possibility of collectible Lorcana cards or special exhibits debuting exclusively at EPCOT.

For Disney fans, this is a must-see event. The 2026 Festival of the Arts will celebrate creativity on every level—from painting and cuisine to gameplay and design. It’s another sign that Disney is leaning into experiences that bring art, technology, and storytelling together, and fans couldn’t be more excited to see it all unfold.
