Disney Quietly Erases Six Dwarfs From Classic ‘Snow White’ Scene

The latest Disney depiction of characters from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) erases six of the seven titular male characters that star in the now-iconic film and its 2025 live-action remake starring Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot. Here’s what you need to know.

Snow White and… One Dwarf?

On Tuesday, February 17, Central Florida Disney Park guests arrived at EPCOT to find that several more topiaries for the upcoming International Flower & Garden Festival had been installed overnight. Notably, after seven years, the Stitch topiary returned to its place in front of Mission: SPACE in the World Discovery neighborhood.

Even though the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival doesn’t begin until March 4 (and the International Festival of the Arts continues through February 23), the horticulture teams began installing topiaries as early as February 11 to ensure the park is ready on the opening day of the annual event.

According to BlogMickey, one of Tuesday’s arrivals included a set of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs topiaries, which have long appeared in the Germany World Showcase Pavilion during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. However, unlike other characters like Phineas & Ferb and Bambi, Thumper, and Flower, who were installed together, only one of the seven dwarfs currently appears with Snow White.

BlogMickey shared this photo on Facebook, showing that only the Dopey topiary is currently on display in the Germany World Showcase Pavilion. Happy, Grumpy, Sneezy, Doc, Bashful, and Sleepy are missing.

Snow White and Dopey typically appear standing side by side, while the other six characters follow behind. Walt Disney World Resort will likely install the topiaries of Happy, Grumpy, Bashful, Sleepy, Doc, and Sneezy by the time the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival begins on March 4, 2026.
