EPCOT Removes China and Two Other Experiences From Park, Effective Immediately
Three international offerings were suddenly removed from a long-standing EPCOT experience on Tuesday, November 18. Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort this week discovered that several global flavors had vanished without warning.
Background

Club Cool was one of the few survivors of Future World’s extensive, multi-year transformation into the World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature neighborhoods. Originally opening as Ice Station Cool in 1998 and later renamed Club Cool in 2005, the location temporarily closed in 2019 before returning in updated form in 2021.
Today, Club Cool continues to offer one of the only complimentary tasting experiences at Walt Disney World Resort. Guests can sample Coca-Cola-owned beverages from around the world using self-serve machines, with options ranging from fruit-forward sodas to the famously bitter Beverly. Unlimited sample cups are available, and full-size versions of certain beverages can be purchased.
They say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger… but they’ve clearly never tried Beverly at EPCOT’s Club Cool. 😵💀🍹 One sip in, well he liked it but do you?

Three International Options Removed

According to a Tuesday report from WDWNT, three international selections were removed from the Club Cool lineup this week, affecting multiple self-serve fountain machines throughout the location. One beverage is already completely gone, while two more are only partially available and may vanish next.
As of November 18, the Country Club Merengue soda from the Dominican Republic has been removed from all six beverage stations. The hydrating drink is known for its “smooth, creamy tropical fruit” flavor.
Two additional offerings—the Smart Sour Plum beverage from China and Sprite Cucumber from Russia—are unavailable at select machines. While Disney Park guests can still find them on some dispensers, their partial disappearance mirrors previous phased removals at Club Cool.

Smart Sour Plum is described as a “traditional Chinese beverage” that has existed in some form for over a thousand years, offering a “savory, sweet, and tart flavor” that makes it popular on warm Florida days.
Sprite Cucumber brings a refreshing twist to the classic lemon-lime soda with its distinct “crisp cucumber flavor.”
Not the First Time

Club Cool has experienced multiple flavor rotations over the years. Earlier in 2025, several countries temporarily lost representation in the soda lineup, including Italy’s Beverly, China’s Sour Plum Tea, and the Philippines’ Royal Wattamelon.
