This week marks the end of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, a celebration of creativity that blends live performances, interactive exhibits, and visually stunning cuisine. The festival’s last day is February 24, meaning guests have one final chance to enjoy exclusive offerings before the park shifts gears.

Last Call for Festival of the Arts Favorites

The Festival of the Arts has given guests a chance to explore their artistic side, from painting on the communal mural at The Expression Section to collecting one-of-a-kind artwork from talented Disney artists. One of the biggest highlights has been the Disney on Broadway Concert Series, featuring performers from iconic stage productions.

Food is always a major draw at EPCOT’s festivals, and this one has been no exception. If you’ve had your eye on the limited-edition Figment popcorn bucket, now is your last opportunity to grab one before they disappear.

Welcoming the Flower & Garden Festival

While saying goodbye to one festival is always bittersweet, EPCOT’s transformation never stops. Beginning March 5, the International Flower & Garden Festival will bring a vibrant new theme to the park. This event showcases breathtaking topiaries, lush gardens, and fresh, spring-inspired cuisine.

The festival’s iconic character topiaries return each year, offering a picture-perfect backdrop for guests. The butterfly garden is another must-see attraction, providing an up-close look at these delicate creatures. In addition to the visual beauty, outdoor kitchens will offer an entirely new menu of seasonal bites and beverages.

Big Updates Coming to EPCOT This Week

In addition to the festival change, EPCOT is rolling out a major shift in one of its most popular attractions. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, the thrilling indoor coaster, is officially moving to a traditional standby queue. Up until now, guests needed to secure a virtual boarding group to ride, but later this week, they’ll be able to wait in line at their convenience.

This change allows for more flexibility in planning a day at EPCOT, making it easier for visitors to experience the attraction without rushing to grab a virtual spot. Combined with the upcoming festival, this shift marks another exciting step in the park’s ongoing evolution.

As EPCOT continues to grow and change, there’s always something new to experience. Whether you’re heading to the park for the last moments of the Festival of the Arts or looking forward to the fresh blooms of Flower & Garden, now is an exciting time to visit.
