EPCOT After Hours Drops to Four Remaining Dates as 2026 Season Nears Its End

Buy Now Before It's Too Late

EPCOT After Hours has reached its final four-date window for 2026, narrowing the choices for Walt Disney World guests who want late-night access to the park’s biggest attractions.

Following the reportedly sold-out July 23 event, Disney’s remaining calendar consists of two August nights and two September nights. Tickets start at $155 per person, plus tax, but availability is not guaranteed. For guests building a late-summer vacation around the separately ticketed event, waiting now carries a straightforward risk: another date could disappear without a replacement.

Four EPCOT After Hours Dates Remain

The remaining 2026 dates and prices are:

  • August 6 — $159
  • August 13 — $159
  • September 16 — $155
  • September 24 — $155

All prices are per person and do not include tax. Annual Passholders and eligible Disney Vacation Club Members can save $30 per ticket, lowering their prices to $129 for the August events and $125 for September.

Disney’s official EPCOT After Hours information says the event runs from 9:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. Ticket holders can enter EPCOT beginning at 7 p.m. without buying separate daytime admission or making a theme park reservation for an arrival at or after that time.

That creates a potential five-and-a-half-hour visit, but only three of those hours belong exclusively to the After Hours event. Between 7 and 9:30 p.m., ticket holders share EPCOT with regular daytime guests.

The distinction matters when judging the price. A $155 ticket does not purchase an entire low-capacity park day. It purchases early evening admission followed by three hours of limited-capacity access.

What the Ticket Actually Includes

Disney currently advertises lower waits for select attractions, including Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Frozen Ever After, Soarin’ Across America, Spaceship Earth, Mission: SPACE, and Test Track Presented by General Motors.

The lineup gives the event much of its practical appeal. Instead of spreading EPCOT’s headliners across a full park day, guests can attempt to concentrate them into one late-night window. Inside the Magic previously examined how Cosmic Rewind’s popularity reshaped EPCOT planning, making reduced-wait access to the coaster an obvious selling point.

Popcorn, ice cream novelties, and select bottled beverages are also included at designated carts. Disney promises appearances by favorite characters, although the current event page does not guarantee a particular character on every night.

Those extras can soften the cost, but they do not erase it. Two adults attending a September event would pay $310 before tax; the August total would be $318. A family of four purchasing full-price tickets would begin at $620 before tax.

That makes After Hours less of an inexpensive nighttime alternative and more of a premium strategy: pay considerably more to place several popular attractions within a potentially more manageable window. Inside the Magic’s earlier comparison of Walt Disney World After Hours events showed how each park uses the same basic promise—late access, lighter attendance, and included snacks—to sell a distinctly different evening.

Previous Sellouts Make Waiting a Gamble

EPCOT’s calendar has not reached this point without evidence of demand. The February 19 event became the first EPCOT After Hours sellout of 2026. April 2 later became the second sold-out EPCOT date, and additional availability continued to disappear as the season progressed.

Elsewhere at Walt Disney World, every remaining 2026 Magic Kingdom After Hours date sold out. That does not prove EPCOT’s four nights will follow the same path. The parks have different attraction lineups, prices, and demand. It does establish that an After Hours ticket should not be treated as something guaranteed to remain available until vacation week.

September currently provides both the lowest price and the last opportunity. It also requires the longest wait, giving availability more time to change.

What Guests Should Verify Before Buying

The event’s strongest promise is lower waits—not unlimited access. Disney explicitly warns that attractions, entertainment, and experiences can change without notice. Admission does not guarantee access to any particular ride, and tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

Guests should therefore check the attraction list, refurbishment schedule, and park calendar immediately before purchasing and again before traveling. Anyone buying primarily for Cosmic Rewind or Test Track should be comfortable with the possibility that temporary downtime could disrupt the plan.

Four nights remain. Disney has not said whether more will be added, and nothing on the published calendar extends EPCOT After Hours beyond September 24. For guests determined to attend in 2026, the choice is no longer between a long list of dates. It is between two August nights, two September nights, or taking the chance that the season ends without them.

Since first stepping inside the Magic Kingdom at nine years old, I knew I was destined to be a theme Park enthusiast. Although I consider myself a theme Park junkie, I still have much to learn and discover about Disney.
