DVC Members Will Have Opportunity to Meet Kurt Russell at Walt Disney World

There are several great reasons to be a Disney Vacation Club member and Disney Parks Blog announced yet another one today.  It was announced that on December 10th, Disney Vacation Club members will have the opportunity to meet Disney Legend Kurt Russell.  He will attend a special members-only event for 90 minutes before he goes on to narrate the evening’s Candlelight Processional performances.  Kurt Russell is most famously known for his career as an actor, appearing in a variety of films.  From Disney Parks Blog, “Away from the camera, Russell has earned critical acclaim as a winemaker, following a passion that began with bicycle trips through the wine regions of France, Italy and California with the aforementioned Goldie Hawn. You’ll find Russell’s GoGi Wines at a variety of fine Disney restaurants, including Citricos, Flying Fish, Le Cellier Steakhouse, The Hollywood Brown Derby and Victoria & Alberts at Walt Disney World Resort; Markham’s at Golden Oak; and Club 33, Napa Rose, Carthay Circle, 1901 Lounge and Steakhouse 55 at Disneyland Resort.”

This special event with Kurt Russell will be open to 60 members and will take place during the afternoon at Epcot, running from 12 PM to 1:30 PM. There will be a 45 minute conversation with him about his career, including his wine venture.  Attendees at the event will also get to taste two varieties of GoGi Wines.  During the remaining 45 minutes of the event, guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet with Kurt Russell, personally!  Guests that attend the event will also receive priority seating for the 5 PM Candlelight Processional performance. This special member event is priced at $125, per person, plus tax.

Members will need to call Member Services in order to book their reservations while they last.  Members will also need to be prepared to pay for the entire cost of the reservation in advance at the time of booking.
