Drunk Man at Disney World Terrorizes Area with M&M’s
What started as a typical evening at Disney Springs quickly turned chaotic earlier this month when a 28-year-old Indiana man was arrested after allegedly attempting to break into House of Blues and later causing a disturbance inside the M&M’s Store.

According to Orange County authorities, the situation unfolded just before 11 p.m. on February 2. Deputies say Adam Stephenson of Morgantown, Indiana, was first seen near a restricted entrance at House of Blues Orlando. Investigators allege he tried entering security codes into a locked door. When that didn’t work, he reportedly escalated his efforts by hitting and kicking the door.
Officials say the entrances were clearly marked as restricted and located behind a barrier. One door provided access to offices, while the other led into the concert venue itself. Despite the alleged attempts, Stephenson never gained entry.
Authorities say he left the area when confronted and moved further into Disney Springs, where the disturbance continued.
Deputies report that Stephenson entered the M&M’s Store and began knocking merchandise from shelves. After leaving the store, he allegedly used high-top metal bar stools in an effort to block security personnel who were attempting to detain him.

Law enforcement described him as intoxicated and said his actions created a public disturbance in a crowded entertainment district. At that hour, Disney Springs typically remains busy with guests dining, shopping, and attending live performances.
Stephenson was eventually detained and transported to the Orange County Jail. He faces charges of disorderly intoxication and attempted burglary. Court records show he has pleaded not guilty. He also requested a public defender, but that request was denied after he reported earning approximately $4,000 every two weeks.

Disney Springs remains open to the public and does not require park admission, making it a popular nightlife destination. While incidents involving intoxicated guests occasionally occur, security teams and local deputies are stationed throughout the district to respond quickly when necessary.
For most visitors, an evening at Disney Springs ends with dinner reservations and shopping bags. In this case, it ended with an arrest and upcoming court dates.
