Disney’s Trader Sam’s Hits The East Coast

Disney’s Trader Sam’s Hits The East Coast

The Polynesian Resort Opened in 1971 and has been a fixture around The Seven Seas Lagoon since then.   The resort has remained much the same since its opening.  This is all about to change as the resort gets a major face lift.  The Lobby, the Great Ceremonial House, and The Pool House will all receive facelifts.

The most welcomed news might be today’s announcement that West Coast icon Trader Sam’s will have an East Coast twin called Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, a version of the popular bar at the Disneyland Resort.  Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto will feature tiki cocktails and Polynesia-themed small plates.

Trader Sam’s is well known to West Coast park fans as a fantastic watering hole including specialty drinks and specialty custom mugs.

This should be an awesome addition to the new and improved Polynesian Resort in Walt Disney World in Florida.
